You are probably aware of this info about PHP Nuke, but just incase:
It's very important to keep up-to-date with new versions. The latest version fixes a bug that allows remote users to view any file on your system, and there is a bug in the latest version (not yet fixed) that allows someone to take control of any account by having the new password emailed to them instead of the correct user. Both these bugs have been reported on BUGTRAQ at SecurityFocus.com

It's been posted on the nuke add-on site. Guess they had some serious database problems. Question is, why hasn't it been fixed yet?

هناك ثغرتان في Nuke الأولى تسمح لأي مستخدم برؤية أي ملف على السيرفر وقد تم حل هذه المشكلة في آخر إصدارة أما الثانية فهي تسمح لأي مستخدم بأخذ حساب مستخدم آخر وذلك بجعل Nuke يرسل له كلمة المرور الخاصة بمستخدم آخر بالبريد الالكتروني
بالطبع موقع Nuke يعتمد على برنامج Nuke بشكل كامل ولذلك فكان لزاماً عليهم إغلاقه حتى تتم حل المشكلة (عشان ما حدش يقول باب النجار مخلع )
وهذا معناه أن جميع المواقع التي تستخدم Nuke في خطر ولذلك أنصح كل من يستخدمه بإغلاقه مؤقتاً ( تغيير الامتدادات مثلاً من PHP إلى HFT أو أي شيء آخر )

Hello Nukers! The site phpnuke.org is temporary down because there is a big trouble on the server. As I already saw, we lost some valuable data because a massive database corruption. The problem has started exactly after the Linux Mandrake 8.0 release announce, looks like the millions and millions of requests to the Mandrake site, hosted in the same server, just caused this problem. MandrakeSoft Technical staff and me are working on a permanent solution to rescue the most data possible from the database. I really apologize for this inconvenient and hope to bring the site up and running as soon as possible. Thanks for your attention, NuKeLiTe.
