كيف يتم تركيب Mail@
تقول بسيط اشرح لنا اذا ماعندك مانع لستفيد ويستفيد الجميع

@Mail requires the following to operate correctly


1) Unix OS (Linux, FreeBSD recommended) or Win9x/WinNT
2) Sendmail - With aliases/virtmaps functions configured in the sendmai.cf
3) Web Server which can execute perl-scripts. Apache 1.3.x is the preferred webserver for @Mail


Find the pathname to your webservers document root and install @Mail at the base of the directory. Using tar,
gunzip/untar the contents into the directory. Run the fixperms.sh script to set the correct execute permissions on
the perl scripts.

Changing the ownership of the installation directory and configuring your webserver

Change the owner of the atmail directory to the user your web-server runs as! Which is usually the user 'nobody'

root:/www/atmail# chown -R username /www/atmail


Next, your web-server needs to be configured to execute .pl files as perl-scripts and have permissions to execute
CGI's within the atmail directory. Verify the following is enabled, or copy/paste the following into your web-servers
httpd.conf and restart the webserver.

# Allow .pl files to be executed as a perl script
AddHandler cgi-script .pl


<Directory /www/atmail> replace with your atmail dir
# Allow execution of CGI scripts
Options Includes ExecCGI
AllowOverride All

# Controls who can get stuff from this server.

Using the @Mail Administrator Web Interface to configure the software

Assuming you have configured your web-server correctly to allow @Mail to execute, visit
http://yourname.com/atmail/webadmin/ to begin configuration.

Using the webinterface, enter your systems configuration details into the fields provided. Using the webinterface
you can configure global-settings for user accounts and configure how @Mail behavous. After successfully saving
your configuration details via the webinterface, you need to configure sendmail to deliver users email to @Mail

Configuring sendmail to deliver email to @Mail

This section is the most difficult step in installation. For @Mail to recieve users emails, sendmail needs to be
configured to deliver all emails for the domainname to the @Mail saveemail.pl script in the base installation
directory.

saveemail.pl reads the email headers recieved from sendmail and parses the mail into the appropriate user-mailbox.
Using sendmail's aliases and virtmaps functions, we can configure sendmail to send all email to the saveemail.pl
script.

The first step in configuring sendmail is to check your sendmail.cf file for a virtual-mapping function. This feature
of sendmail allows you to create a catchall aliases for a domainname, allowing @Mail to recieve all email from your
domain. Locate your sendmail virtmaps file, or if your sendmail configuration does not support it, read the example
sendmail.cf file in the documentation directory and add a line similar to the following

root:/www/atmail# edit /etc/virtmaps



yourdomain.com webemail

Where yourdomain.com is the domain-name you would like @Mail to handle email for, and webemail the
targetname. @Mail supports unlimited users at any number of domain-names.

Now, edit your sendmail aliases file with a line similar to this

root:/www/atmail# edit /etc/aliases

webmail "|/www/atmail/saveemail.pl"

This will divert all email to *@yourdomain.com to the saveemail.pl script. This is used by @Mail to deliver email to
local accounts created. This is the best solution rather then creating real POP3 accounts and adding users in the
systems password file. This allows @Mail to run under *ANY* system that includes a catchall email address! (95%
of all Internet providers, also
supported by WinNT/95 & all common UNIX systems)

Once you have added the domain-names you wish @Mail to handle email for, rebuild the virtmaps database and
the sendmail aliases database.

root:/www/atmail# sendmail -bi
/etc/aliases: 20 aliases, longest 70 bytes, 307 bytes total
Feb 27 04:50:49 192 sendmail[9398]: alias database /etc/aliases rebuilt by root

If you do not have access to your own Dedicated or Virtual Server ask your provider to enable your catchall email
address to divert to the saveemail.pl script in the @Mail distribution directory.



الخطوة الخامسة وألاخيرة

Validating @Mail is setup correctly

After your web-server and sendmail is configured you are ready to begin signing up new webemail users!

To test your configuration is complete, visit http://yourname.com/atmail/newuser.html and create a new user
account. Configuration of @Mail is complete if the user account is created successfully.

تركيب البرنامج سهل مثل ما قال الأخ مبسوط لكن الشي الغريب فيه ممكن عليكم انه يحتاج اعداد عن طريق التل نت !!

اما بالنسبه للباسوورد مو لازم عدل في ملف الريجيستري ويضبط معاك
