You keep saying “we try to avoid politics” but few of your recent articles are political. Aren’t there enough technology news out there?
Don’t alienate Arabcrunch fans who come here to read about technology.
I have to say you are exaggerating a bit with this article. Are you seeking sympathy? I honestly think you shouldn’t have posted it on Arabcrunch. Not only does it make the website unprofessional but it makes you, personally, unprofessional. Create a personal blog and rant all you. That’s what most people do.
Also, why are you speaking on behalf of all people in this region? I don’t see the big deal about a competitive project. Great for entrepreneurs and great for people to have different source of information. Give people some credit. If they see the new project as a propaganda for a US agenda, they will not follow it. Leave the choice to them.
I agree that there’s a room for everyone and the more support for Arab entrepreneurs, the better. Don’t you think? Seems to me you are worried about losing readership and business than anything else.
Don’t post under the pretext of patriotism. In all cases, patriotism and a technology portals don’t mix. Don’t lose focus.
