أعلنت شركة Research In Motion المصنعة لهواتف BlackBerry الذكية عن طرح هاتف جديد طراز Porsche Design P’9981 يحمل الملامح التصميمية لسيارات بورشه الشهيرة، ويأتي هذا الإصدار الجديد كأول ثمرة للتعاون المشترك بين الشركتين لطرح هواتف ذكية تتميز بتصميماتها الديناميكية المستمدة من خطوط تصاميم بورشه.
ويتميز هاتف BlackBerry الجديد من تصميم بورشه بخطوطه المعدنية الحادة من الأمام والأطراف أما من الخلف فقد تم تغليفه بنوعية فاخرة من الجلد، وتتميز الواجهة الأمامية للهاتف Porsche Design P’9981 بلوحة مفاتيح انسيابية QWERTY وشاشة كريستالية تعمل باللمس. أما من الداخل فيحتوي هاتفPorsche Design P’9981 الجديد على واجهة مستخدم تحمل ملامح بورشه أيضاً، ومتصفح إنترنت Wikitude، فضلاً عن أرقام تعريف شخصية خاصة تساعد بسهولة في التعرف على مستخدمي هواتف Porsche Design P’9981 الآخرين.
أما عن المواصفات الفنية لهاتف Porsche Design P’9981، فقد تم تزويده بمعالج بيانات بسرعة 1.2 جيجاهرتز، وكاميرا بتقنية الوضوح العالي، وشاشة 24 بت عالية الوضوح، وهو مزود أيضاً ببطاقة ذاكرة سعة 8 جيجابايت قابلة للتوسع حتى 40 جيجابايت ومنفذ بطاقات micro SD .
